Your Role

In this role, you will be responsible for the complete handling of sea freight exports, imports, and cross-trade shipments. You will be a competent contact person in operational handling, bringing your solution-oriented and entrepreneurial mindset to the forefront.

Your Tasks and Responsibilities

• You will take over the scheduling and processing of sea freight exports, imports, and cross-trades
• This includes the organizational, documentary, and technical handling of export shipments
• In addition to customs clearance, you will also be responsible for the creation of shipping documents
• Maintaining national and international networks makes your workday exciting and varied – you will be in contact with various foreign offices of Salloum Logistics, shipping companies, our customers, and employees from other internal departments
• Through professionally conducted reporting, you will always be able to provide information and be optimally prepared for all inquiries

Qualifications You Should Bring

• You have successfully completed your training in freight forwarding and logistics services
• You have already gained practical experience in sea freight during your training and/or subsequent professional activity
• Your language skills are important to us: you operate globally, so your English should be good – both spoken and written. We require very good German skills.
• You always work in a quality- and customer-oriented manner and impress with your proactive approach. You are willing to look beyond your own nose and are excited to grow professionally and personally together with the team

• Ideally, completed vocational training as a warehouse and logistics specialist in vehicle logistics; automobile salesperson, or similar (not mandatory)
• Career changers are also welcome, preferably with prior experience in the chauffeur/taxi/driver or warehouse sector
• Class B driver’s license (mandatory), CE preferred
• Proficiency in German, both spoken and written (mandatory)
• Basic computer skills desirable
• Friendly interaction with customers and suppliers
• Willingness to perform physical work
• Team player, stress-resistant, and resilient
